![]() Do that, then go back and test out your cores again.Įdit- Although I've yet to see the results of Android 10's emulation capabilities, I'm under the impression they aren't that much better than what Lakka is capable of, and the only thing Lakka has going for it is minor GCN emulation in handheld mode only. To use any of the emulators/systems I mentioned, you should have each core set to run at 1785MHz, which can be done by changing the overclock settings then saving the changes as a core override. You probably didn't have your overclock settings cranked when you tried your cores out. ![]() The only issues I encountered was the sweet music of Pepsiman not working, although that might be an issue with my cue+bin and not the emulator, since the music plays (not well, at least in stage 3) in PSX ReArmed.ĭreamcast games work very well for me as well, as I've been able to play various games (namely Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure, and Sonic Adventure 2, along with various proto/demo builds of the latter two games) with 1280 x 720 resolution and widescreen hacks with no issues. I've been able to play 47 days of LSD Dream Emulator without any issues (that I could tell, because goddamn is that game an acid trip). Games seem to work consistently well in 1280 x 720 with widescreen hacks. PS1 games run very well if you use the Beetle PSX core, which I will link here because I am a deliverer of sauce and an utmost chad. I was even able to get the recently leaked Dinosaur Planet running in 1280 x 720 with widescreen hacks without any unusual graphical glitches. N64 games are hit and miss when it comes to doubling the resolution and using widescreen hacks (Mario Tennis and presumably Mario Golf being the big offenders, as they seem to only run well in the original resolution and maybe 16:9 stretched settings). ![]() I've had few or no problems playing 32X, N64, PS1 and Dreamcast games in RetroArch when they're in their standard resolutions. On the MD Mini, you can add folders but they are not sorted and you can use RetroArch, the built-in emulator is ok but it can not play Mega CD games, only MD Games, only Retroarch can play them, so you see its running RetroArch when you exit a game(you have to exit out of RetroArch to go back to the MD Mini's menu, weird), this does not do that, the cores are part of its menu, like THEC64.MelonDS works perfectly if you use the standalone versions. I do have the MD Mini but find this better than the MD Mini, a) its was cheaper and b) you can organize your games better and it has better emulators with it, you can use Genesis Plus GX or Picodrive with its menu. wiki:custom-firmware-for-genesis-flashback-2018-9 I do run Custom Firmware on mine, info is here on it and a Video below. System Memory – Storage – 256MB NAND(same as the THEC64 Mini, well it uses the same Mail400MP4 GPU but its a A9, THEC64 Mini is a A7) SoC – Rockchip RK3066 ARM Cortex A9 Dual-Core CPU 1.5GHz + Mali-400MP4 GPU. You can use original Control Pads with it, I have my Competition Pro plug in to it.Īll AtGames Flashback Consoles, Atari, Sega, Legend(Arcade) all use the same Menu. The Mega Drive 32X fits fine on top of it, had to use the spacer with it though, the 32X works but have not uses it, last time I did was in the 90s. I have a few Mega CD games that I used as a wall next to it. I use the Bonus Section on the menu for Sega Mega CD/32X games that I add to the SD Card. Videos about the Genesis MD Flashback 2018. You can get this for about £30 to £40 now if you look around on eBay, I got mine for £25 cause it was for parts and not working, but it did work when I got it but had a damaged power supply so just need to replace it, I use my PC to power it now and play it on my PC monitor like I do with my THEVIC20, I use a HDMI Video Capture Card (with Loop, it has 2 HDMI Ports on it, one for input and one for output) and a HDMI Switcher so it switches HDMI ports to the one it see is on. I thought I post about theses, I still use mine even though I have a MD Mini, I made a Megad CD for it and added a 32X to it so its a Megatower, it looks like the real thing but you can see it smaller cause the mega cd draw is smaller.
